Job Title: Deputy Instrumentation Engineer, Packing Plant

Description

• Supervises maintenance of instrumentation equipment’s of Roto-packers preferably H&B, Auto-loaders.
• Plans for shut down maintenance.
• Calibration of instruments and its communications
• Loop checking & communication with PLC/DCS
• Knowledge of UPS and weighbridges maintenance.
• Raises purchase requisitions for the plant spares in the department.
• Trouble shooting of instrumentation circuit during breakdown / stoppages
• Raises store reservations for maintenance of Equipment’s
• Allocation of manpower
• Carries out RCA on equipment failures and remedy
• Ensure compliance with ISO/EMS/OHSAS Standards
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the HOD.

Requirements

Qualification

• BSc/HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using control room monitoring systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational conditions.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protocols in a manufacturing environment.
