Job Title: Director, Information and Public Relations

Duties

The Director, Information and Public Relations shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day- to-day administration of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations.
By virtue of the office, he/she should be able to provide appropriate leadership and advice on the institution’s problems in the area relating to building positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public.
He/She shall hold office for a single term of five (5) and non-renewable.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate for the post must possess a Degree preferably in Arts, Journalism, Social Science or English Language from a recognized institution and evidence of NYSC plus at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience with ICT proficiency.
Membership of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations would be an added advantage.
He/She must not be above sixty (60) years of age before the date of appointment.
