Job Title: Logistics and Facility Manager
Description
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics and Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, logistics, and maintenance of our premium spa located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of all facility systems and manage supply chain activities to provide an exceptional experience for our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the spa’s physical infrastructure, ensuring a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Manage third-party contractors, including cleaners, technicians, and security personnel, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including maintaining accurate records.
- Address emergency repair issues promptly and coordinate efficient resolutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of the spa’s premises and equipment to identify and resolve potential issues.
Logistics Management
- Manage the procurement of supplies, including beauty products, consumables, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, using inventory management tools effectively.
- Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply chains.
- Coordinate logistics for events or promotional activities, including sourcing materials and managing timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of all procurement and logistics activities for accountability.
Operational Support:
- Collaborate with spa management and staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures that enhance workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management for facility and logistics operations.
- Implement technology solutions to optimize facility management and logistics.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, facility management, or operations, preferably in the hospitality or wellness industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in inventory management and procurement systems.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle emergencies efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility/logistics management software.
