Job Title: Vulcanizer

Responsibilities

• Operating Vulcanizing Equipment: Vulcanizers operate and monitor equipment such as autoclaves, presses, or molds that apply heat and pressure to the rubber to achieve the vulcanization process.
• The vulcanization process requires precise control over temperature and pressure to ensure the rubber is vulcanized correctly. The vulcanizer adjusts these parameters based on the specifications for the product.
• After vulcanization, the vulcanizer inspects the rubber items for defects or inconsistencies in shape, strength, and other physical characteristics. This may involve visual inspections, hardness testing, and flexibility tests.
• Regular maintenance and troubleshooting of vulcanizing equipment are important duties. This includes cleaning, repairing, and ensuring that all machinery is functioning properly.
• Vulcanizers must adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents, such as wearing appropriate protective gear and ensuring that equipment is operated in a safe manner.

Requirements

• FSLC with at least 3 years of experience.
