Job Title: Sea / Air Shipping Officer

About the Role

Open & Close shipment (Sea & Air freight) hardcopy files.
Apply for Sea & Air freight Import SONCAP Certificates & follow up.
Apply for Sea & Air freight Import PAAR & follow up with Bank
Communicates PAARs & other Shipping documents to LCAs.
Reconciles & responds to Customs DNs & other queries.
Follow up with LCAs on PAAR utilization.
Updates PAAR progress on the W-Drive
Prepares weekly PAAR application status & monthly PAAR utilization reports.
Updates Transit E-archive.
Any other activity or Service function assigned to me by the Manager of the Department.

Requirements

Degree in Social Science or Engineering course
Computer literate: Use of Microsoft applications and database management softwar
Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
Interfaces with contractors and should be capable of speaking and writing good English.
