Job Description

• Maintaining accurate financial records, ascertain, update and inform the organization regularly about both its financial position and financial performance.

Qualifications / Minimum Experience

• A good First Degree in Accounting or a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two (2) years’ work experience in Accounting or Finance function(s).
• A sound understanding of basic accounting concepts and principles
• Good familiarity with accounting and finance concepts, practices and procedures such as auditing, due diligence exercises, feasibility studies, business plans etc.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office tools (Microsoft Excel).
• Extensive familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting activities such as maintenance of books primary entry e.g. Cashbooks, and General Ledger.
