Videography Assistant at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

Job Title: Videography Assistant

Duties

• Assist in video production of events and meetings and other institutional activities.
• Assist in conducting interviews with scientist, institutional guest and partners, school visits, conference, seminars, VIPs and staff.
• Assist in video production and post production of IITA TV programs
• Provide video production, post production and streaming support for the Radio IITA Farmer’s Outreach.
• Assist in organizing produced video files on GoogleDrive and other platforms.
• Assist Audio Visual team in the setup of equipment for eventsand studio use.
• Edit raw footage using video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Assist in adding subtitles, graphics, to video productions on YouTube or premiere pro.
• Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications                    

• B.Sc / HND in Mass communication or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:

• Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Have excellent reporting skills.
• Have good Videography skills.
