Job Description

• We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Guidance Counselor to support students’ academic, emotional, and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Assist students with career planning, goal setting, and course selection.
• Address emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns in students.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for student success.
• Organize workshops and seminars on personal development and career readiness.
• Administer and interpret assessments to evaluate students’ abilities and interests.
• Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and progress reports.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive.
• Stay updated on educational trends and counseling practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a school counselor or in a related role.
• Certification in counseling or psychology is an advantage.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Familiarity with child and adolescent development principles.
