Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Job Description

• Our client is seeking an innovative and results-driven Mathematics Teacher to join their dynamic teaching team.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in delivering complex mathematical concepts in an engaging manner, and committed to fostering academic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational best practices.
• Teach Mathematics at various levels, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus.
• Use diverse teaching methods to cater to students’ varying learning styles.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and exams, and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and JAMB.
• Provide additional support and tutoring for students requiring extra assistance.
• Integrate technology into teaching, including the use of educational software and tools.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and extracurricular activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics.
• Certification: Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) is preferable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement.
• Knowledge of modern teaching methods and the ability to integrate technology into lessons.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for mathematics and a dedication to helping students succeed academically.
