Job Title: Fine Arts Teacher

Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented and creative Fine Art Teacher to inspire students through engaging and interactive art classes.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for art, a deep understanding of artistic techniques, and the ability to foster creativity in students.

Responsibilities

• Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and promote artistic growth.
• Introduce students to art history and diverse artistic styles from different cultures.
• Foster creativity and self-expression in students through hands-on projects.
• Organize and oversee art exhibitions, competitions, and school-wide art events.
• Encourage students to explore their artistic potential and develop their unique styles.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help improve their artistic skills.
• Maintain a well-organized and safe art studio environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers on interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Participate in professional development programs, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years teaching Fine Arts at the secondary school level.
• Certification: Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) is preferable.
• Strong creativity and ability to inspire artistic expression in students.
• Proficiency in various art forms, including traditional and digital media.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for art and a commitment to nurturing young talent.
