Job Title: Honeykeeper

Background

• We are looking for a skilled and experienced Honeykeeper to join our NIKO Farm team and contribute to the success of our honey production operations.
• NIKO Farm is dedicated to producing high-quality honey and maintaining sustainable agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain bee colonies to ensure optimal honey production.
• Conduct routine inspections of hives to monitor the health and productivity of bees.
• Implement best practices for honey harvesting and extraction.
• Maintain and clean all honeykeeping equipment and tools.
• Monitor and manage hive pests and diseases.
• Ensure safety and quality control during all honey production processes.

Requirements

• NCE / OND / SSCE with 5 – 10 years experience.
• Proven experience in honeykeeping with a track record of successful honey production.
• Strong knowledge of bee colony management, hive health, and pest control.
• Ability to deliver results and meet production targets.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Must be available to work two days a week.
• Ready to resume immediately.
