Job Title: Corporate Social Responsibility Officer

Description 

  • The Corporate Social Responsibility Officer is to work with the Group Executive Director HR & Corporate Services for the creation and implementation of the organization’s social responsibility objectives as well as designing and developing the strategies that support ipNX’s CSR goals.
  • The CSR Officer would be involved in researching, generating ideas, formulating policies, constructing comprehensive plans, establishing links with partner organizations, and implementing, managing, and overseeing a variety of activities and projects aimed at improving the environment and local communities.
  • The officer will also manage CSR budgets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the design and execution of CSR strategies and programs aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify and develop new CSR opportunities and partnerships.
  • Assist in coordinating CSR events and initiatives, including community outreach programs.
  • Communicate the company’s CSR objectives and policies internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, public institutions, and community leaders.
  • Write and edit communications, including presentations, scripts, articles, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to create awareness of CSR initiatives.
  • Staying abreast of relevant research and trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices.
  • Develop and manage the CSR budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of funds.
  • Monitor project expenses and prepare financial reports related to CSR initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations and Business Administration, or social sciences. (2.1/ Upper Credit Minimum)
  • 2–3 years of experience in CSR, community development, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proven experience working with public institutions, NGOs, or government agencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CSR trends, standards, and frameworks (e.g., SDGs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
