Job Summary

• We are seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in fund mobilization from banks, financial institutions, and asset management companies, coupled with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Growth: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the client base, increase revenue, and meet growth objectives.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors, using insights to shape strategies.
• Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with industry leaders, associations, and clusters to enhance the company’s assets under management.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business collaborations.
• Reporting and Analysis: Monitor performance metrics, prepare insightful reports, and provide recommendations to management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, customer support, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of business initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: B.Sc Degree from a reputable institution
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an asset management company or financial institution.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Central Bank guidelines and relevant local legislation.
  • Proven marketing and sales expertise.
  • Analytical mindset and knowledge of offshore banking.
  • Awareness of money laundering risks.
  • Excellent time management and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Salary
N400,000 monthly.
