Job Title: Remote Diction / Phonics Tutor

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Diction/Phonics Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children aged 4-15 (and other age groups as needed), teaching diction, phonics, reading and effective pronunciation through engaging and interactive online lessons.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging online lessons tailored to the learning needs of students.
• Teach pronunciation, phonics, and diction using creative and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and track their progress.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in alignment with the academy’s curriculum.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to address learning gaps and celebrate milestones.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience teaching English, phonics, or diction to children, preferably online.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, with a clear and professional speaking voice.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and necessary online teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).

Preferred Qualifications:

• A phonics/Diction-specific training program.
• Familiarity with teaching children aged 4-15 or early language learners.
• Creative teaching methods to make lessons interactive and engaging.
