Job Title: Finance Executive – Treasury

Responsibilities

  • Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems by ensuring high standard of financial stewardship and ensuring that all banking transactions are done on time with very minimum risk and in line with organizational policies.
  • Maintain good relationship with customers including banks, vendors and staff on finance and accounting
  • Review the correctness and adequacy of accounting documents before making payments
  • Process payments to vendors, employees etc. accurately
  • Enter all payment vouchers and other journals into the ledger on daily basis
  • Resolve payment related errors & complaints
  • Prepare bank instructions and ensure the instructions are properly and promptly treated by the banks
  • Review bank statements and post direct bank entries, including charges
  • Perform activities relating to opening/closing of bank accounts, investments, bank reference letters, etc
  • Prepare related audit schedules and support both the conduct and management of internal and external audit processes
  • Maintain proper filing system for finance records
  • Support the HoF to routinely review and recommend the revision of banking policies and support in implementing same within the organization
  • Support other accounting and finance team members

Requirements

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, and ICMA
  • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting
  • Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills
  • Possesses good analytical and Interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Able to work under stress to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated, independent and proactive
  • Strong attention to details and ability to work with little supervision.
