Job Title: Receptionist
Role Overview
- Our client is seeking a professional and personable Hotel Receptionist to be the face of their establishment.
- As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their stay is memorable and seamless.
- This position requires a mix of customer service expertise, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Ensure the front desk area is well-organized and presentable at all times.
What We are Looking For
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in customer service or front desk roles (1-2 years preferred).
- Background in hospitality or tourism is advantageous.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and MS Office.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- A problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude.
- Fluency in [English] (additional languages are a plus).
