Job Title: Relationship Manager
Job Description
- Relationship Management Officer is a part of the sales team who builds and maintains relationships with customers, develops, exploits, and consummates sales opportunities, drawing in prospective commercial & retail customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as client’s advocate and trusted advisor on financial matters.
- Handle client enquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and organizations.
- Collaborate with business heads to drive product sales and acquisitions.
- Leverage internal networks and partnerships for sales growth.
- Sell, cross-sell, and upsell bank products to maximize revenue.
- Implement marketing strategies to boost profit.
- Achieve deposit targets through business and investment deals.
- Source clients for savings, current, and fixed deposit accounts.
- Create quality risk assets to meet targets.
- Package and monitor customers’ credit requests and compliance.
- Ensure KYC requirements are met.
- Plan and report on marketing activities.
- Monitor performance against targets.
- Deliver high-quality client service to enhance sales and retention.
Key Performance Indicators
- Customer growth in volume and value.
- Customer experience and cross-selling.
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
- Profitability rate.
- Quality and timeliness of reporting.
Experience and Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of banking experience in sales and credit.
- Knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, business law, advisory services, and banking operations.
- Skills in credit risk assessment, relationship management, and business writing.
- Understanding of economic trends and their implications on the banking sector.
- Must currently occupy similar role in other banks
- Must be a full time staff of a bank
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Understanding of business processes and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service.
- Proactive decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity and commitment.
