Job Title: Senior Petrophhysicist
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Analysis and interpretation of well log data to assess reservoir properties such as porosity, permeability, and fluid saturation.
- Integrate petrophysical data with geological, geophysical, and engineering datasets to create robust reservoir models.
- Support reservoir management by providing insights into fluid dynamics and reservoir behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in petrophysics within the upstream oil and gas industry, with significant exposure to reservoir characterization.
- Proven experience with advanced logging tools (e.g., LWD, MWD, NMR) and data interpretation techniques.
- Strong background in using petrophysical software such as Techlog, Petrel, Interactive Petrophysics (IP), or similar tools.
- Certification in relevant disciplines or technologies (e.g., SPE Certified Petroleum Professional) is an added advantage.
