Job Title: Welfare Officer
Job Summary
- Are you passionate about ensuring employee well-being and creating a supportive work environment? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Welfare Officer to join our dynamic team.
- This role will be pivotal in managing and enhancing our employees’ welfare, focusing on housing, living conditions, and overall well-being across our various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Housing Management: Oversee staff housing and quarters, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to healthy living.
- Living Conditions: Regularly assess and improve the living conditions of employees, ensuring compliance with company standards and employee satisfaction.
- Staff Meals: Plan, coordinate, and monitor staff meal programs to ensure employees have access to nutritious and satisfying meals.
- Welfare Programs: Develop and implement welfare initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction.
- Support Services: Act as the first point of contact for employees’ welfare-related concerns and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as needed.
- Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions for housing, meals, and other welfare-related activities.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with management to establish and enforce policies related to staff welfare.
- Compliance: Ensure all welfare initiatives comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Communication: Foster strong relationships with employees and management to maintain open communication channels for welfare-related matters.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or related industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with employees and management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong budgeting and negotiation skills.
- Empathy and a genuine interest in the well-being of employees.
