Job Title: Development Lead
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering, including #leadership roles in #reservoir development.
- Strong knowledge of reservoir characterization, well performance analysis, and enhanced oil recovery techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
- Advanced knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, including #fluid dynamics, petrophysics, and reservoir modeling.
- Familiarity with Southern Nigeria’s subsurface characteristics and petroleum systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret reservoir data and recommend actionable solutions.
- Capability to balance technical requirements with commercial considerations.
- Understanding of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations and local content requirements.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies such as DPR or NUPRC is a plus
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, OFM, or equivalent.
