Job Title: Social Media Manager
Job Description
- We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate bookings for our business. You will play a key role in showcasing the resort’s unique offerings and creating a strong online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across all relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
- Conduct social media audits and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and best practices.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion rates.
Content Creation & Management:
- Create high-quality, visually appealing content, including photos, videos, and written posts.
- Plan and execute engaging social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and influencer collaborations.
- Monitor and respond to social media mentions and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
Community Building & Engagement:
- Build and nurture a strong online community by engaging with followers and responding to their comments and inquiries.
- Identify and leverage relevant social media trends and hashtags.
- Generate user-generated content by encouraging guests to share their experiences on social media.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and analyze social media performance data, including key metrics such as reach, engagement, and website traffic.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide insights and recommendations.
Stay Up-to-Date:
- Stay current on the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing effective social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative and visual skills with the ability to create engaging content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a strong interest in travel and tourism.
Salary
N150,000 / month.
