Job Description

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion.
• Prepare detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that designs meet their needs.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other specialists to ensure design feasibility and technical accuracy.
• Ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that milestones are met.
• Oversee the presentation of designs to clients, stakeholders, and planning authorities.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure designs are being executed correctly.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Architectural design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and cost control.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design and technical skills.
• Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino etc)
• Excellent understanding of building codes, construction methods and regulations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Membership of professional body will be an added advantage.
