Job Title: CLS Manager

- Our client is seeking for an experienced CLS Manager that will be responsible for managing cable landing station and its operations.
Responsibilities
- The CLS Manager will be responsible to undertake all aspects of daily operations and routine maintenance activity associated with the companies international submarine cable and associated extension network. This includes:
- Operate and maintain the companies cable station equipment and the services equipment located within the building in accordance with the equipment supplier’s recommended operation and maintenance procedures.
- Operate & maintain the companies station equipment which includes, but not limited to, the following categories of equipment:
- Power Feeding Equipment (PFE)
- Submarine Line Terminal Equipment (SLTE)
- Cable System Management Systems (NMS).
Cable Station services equipment which includes, but not limited to, the following categories of equipment:
- DC power systems and associated batteries
- Standby AC power supply systems (generators)
- Uninterruptable power supply systems (UPS)
- HVAC equipment
- Security systems 2.
- Fault investigation and rectification work as required and under the direction of the NOC.
- Minimize the duration of repair operations and providing clear definition of responsibilities for repair management.
- Developing maintenance service KPIs.
- Ensuring timely communication of fault information, investigation reports and remedial action activities.
Key Performance Indicator and Deliverables
- Maintainand improve Service SLA/KPI as agreed (Uptime, MTTR)
- Process owner (Incident Management & Change management)
- Minimize Customer escalations
Develop Automation asrequired:
- Station facilities and power management like Generators, UPS, Air conditions, FM 200 fire fighting system, camera, and access.
Education, Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Communication, Electronics, or related fields).
- Minimum 12 years experience in Telecom/Service provider Network Operations Centre.
Skills and Competencies:
- NMS Analysis, Automation and Reporting.
- Customer Escalations management.
- Stakeholder Management.
