Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business growth efforts in the electro-mechanical equipment industry.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building relationships with key clients and partners.
Key Responsibilites
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and increase market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams, to develop and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics to measure business development success.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring that all sales and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Provide input into product development and improvement, based on client feedback and market research.
- Develop and manage a network of agents, distributors, and partners to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
- Stay up to date on industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the electro-mechanical equipment industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, increasing sales, and expanding market share.
- Strong understanding of the electro-mechanical equipment industry, including market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other business productivity tools.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP).
- Experience working in a multinational company or a company with a global presence.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as IoT, AI, and robotics, and their applications in the electro-mechanical equipment industry.
