Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Officer
Role Overview
- The Human Resource Officer is responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, training & development, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to support organizational growth through effective HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for both in-house roles and outsourced positions.
- Develop job descriptions, post job listings, and screen candidates.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to finalize hires.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Employee Relations & Welfare:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Foster a positive work environment by implementing engagement strategies.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts in alignment with company policies.
- Ensure employee satisfaction and retention through welfare initiatives.
Performance Management & Training:
- Implement performance evaluation systems for both internal and outsourced staff.
- Assist in creating employee development plans and training programs.
- Track performance metrics and recommend improvements.
HR Policies & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce HR policies in line with labor laws and company objectives.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Handle disciplinary actions, terminations, and policy enforcement.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Knowledge in processing payroll
- Address payroll-related queries in a timely manner.
HR Operations & Administration:
- Maintain an efficient HR database and filing system.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.
- Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with outsourcing agreements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 – 2 years experience in HR, preferably in an outsourcing firm.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Google workspace
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
