Job Title: Marketing Operations Executive
Key Responsibilities
Campaign/Event Support:
- Plan, coordinate, and support execution of BTL marketing campaigns/events across channels, ensuring timelines are met.
- Provide dedicated support to event managers and recruited vendors to deliver exceptional activity outcomes
- Manage marketing calendars to align BTL activations with product launches, promotions, and events.
- Support the marketing team with handling ad-hoc field tasks
Communication Asset Management:
- Administer, monitor and optimize deployment of ALL company assets (Hired and owned digital boards, hired and owned static boards and any other for optimal outcomes).
- Ensure proper tracking, and reporting on performance of deployed platforms/assets (Digital boards, static boards, innovations deployed on our behalf).
- Provide periodic reports on assets to engage with vendors for claims
- Identify and present innovations for consideration to improve marketing efficiency
SIMS Digital Center Brand Standard Management:
- Track and monitor brand collateral deployment physically at ALL SIMS DC and track off-site locations
- Make recommendations for necessary update, repairs and replacement as considered necessary.
- Track mismanagement/mishandling of placements for consequence management.
- Manage costing process to approval point
Field Data gathering, Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and analyze DC performance on the basis of shopper engagement for insight generation.
- Identify relevant performance metrics for tracking/reporting performance.
- Support the planning and execution of surveys across trade channels
- Ensure data integrity across marketing platforms and tools where applicable.
- Provide actionable insights to improve effectiveness.
Process Optimization:
- Develop and document standardized processes for campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
- Coordinate between internal teams (creative, sales, 3P) to ensure seamless communication and task alignment.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Budget Management Support:
- Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked and campaigns/activations stay within allocated funds.
- Work with finance teams to reconcile invoices and vendor payments.
Marketing Engagement:
- Be the first point of call for marketing field resource requirement
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a related role. Strong field activation background would be an advantage
- A jack/Jane-of-all-trades mentality: Willing and ready to get up and go at short notice.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate, interpret data and provide insights. Make sense of a jumble of ideas
- Top information presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy of big picture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across and manage own and 3P teams.
- Strong ability to influence and at the same time be assertive

- The addition of a Marketing Operations Executive will ensure that marketing activations/campaigns get dedicated support for on-time executions, on budget deployment and with maximum efficiency. This eliminates bottlenecks caused by misaligned tasks, misallocated task/individuals and inefficient processes.

- By leveraging dip stick surveys, data analytics and tracking tools, this role will help the department answer to perception measurement, to a greater extent eliminate subjective submissions and test the veracity of opinions, enabling faster optimization for better results.

- This role will act as a central point of coordination between marketing, sales, on field expectations ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables especially for field activations/requirements

- With operational tasks delegated to the Marketing Operations Executive, senior marketing staff can focus on strategy, creativity, and long-term growth initiatives.

- Centralizing marketing operations will reduce redundancies, avoid duplication of effort, and improve resource utilization, resulting in cost savings over time.
