Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and passionate HR Recruiter and Employee Engagement Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
- This dual-role position combines recruiting top talent with enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment process and implementing initiatives to ensure employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Assist in the creation and posting of job advertisements across various platforms.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Maintain an organized recruitment pipeline and database, ensuring all records are up to date.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs to improve employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback sessions to assess engagement levels and gather actionable insights.
- Work closely with management to create initiatives that foster a positive work environment and strong company culture.
- Organize team-building activities, company events, and recognition programs to promote employee well-being and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Recruiter, Employee Engagement Specialist, or in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Experience with employee engagement strategies and initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Salary
N200,000 monthly.
