Job Title: Procurement Officer

Job Overview

• The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food, beverages, equipment, and supplies for our hospitality operations. 
• The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities, and the ability to maintain a seamless supply chain while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate best prices, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods to avoid stockouts and disruptions in restaurant and nightclub operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with store managers to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure all purchased goods meet quality standards, hygiene regulations, and business specifications.
• Track market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and operations teams to understand supply needs and forecast demand.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation in an organized and transparent manner.
• Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
• Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations and address any issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and company procurement policies.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain that could affect business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or Purchasing Specialist in the hospitality, food & beverage, or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations.
• Experience in sourcing food, beverages, kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and operational materials.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple suppliers and orders.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze costs, manage budgets, and reduce unnecessary expenses.
• Attention to detail and ability to detect quality inconsistencies in purchased goods.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement laws, compliance standards, and supplier agreements.
