Job Title: Head of Sales

Job Description

  • The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, and achieving business objectives. 
  • This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in sales management, channel development, and performance forecasting. 
  • The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams, particularly in the consumer and SME sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales organization, including direct sales, retail, and channel partner networks.
  • Drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Performance Management & Market Insight
  • Monitor sales performance and implement effective forecasting techniques.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.
  • Continuously improve sales processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Management & Development
  • Recruit, train, and manage a results-driven sales team.
  • Implement a performance management system to track and improve team effectiveness.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for the sales team.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Serve as a key member of the Leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy.
  • Work closely with product development to ensure market-fit offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events and act as a spokesperson when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling multichannel sales organizations (direct sales, channel partners, and retail).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent sales hiring, training, and team development capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Potential to grow into a broader commercial leadership role.
