Job Summary

• The Business Assurance & Internal Control Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring internal control systems to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. 
• The role is crucial in maintaining transparency, reducing fraud, and improving process integrity within the loan operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal control frameworks and business assurance policies.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify financial, operational, and compliance vulnerabilities.
• Perform periodic internal audits to evaluate adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze loan processes and transactions to detect discrepancies and prevent fraud.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance business performance and minimize risks.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to strengthen control measures.
• Develop training programs to ensure employees understand internal control policies and compliance requirements.
• Generate reports on audit findings and present them to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in internal control, audit, risk management, or business assurance.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and risk assessment techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CIA, CISA, or ACCA will be an added advantage.

Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 Monthly.
