Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary
- The Business Development Manager is a key role responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
- This individual will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong client relationships, and represent our brand in the market.
- The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a proven track record in business development within the consulting industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients in target industries and markets.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email marketing, and social media.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase company’s expertise and value proposition.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new clients.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Work with project delivery teams to ensure a smooth handoff for new clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential partnerships.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates.
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the consulting industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of business consulting services and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
N250,000 Monthly
