Job Title: Team Lead, Business Services Group
Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Team Lead for our Business Service Group. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, and driving continuous improvement within the organization.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in process improvement, project management, team leadership, and operational oversight, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality business services.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve business processes across the group.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Continuously monitor and assess existing processes, making recommendations for enhancements and driving change initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage key projects within the Business Service Group, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to timelines.
- Manage project risks and resolve issues, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide clear direction and support to team members, ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals.
- Mentor and coach team members, conducting regular performance evaluations and offering constructive feedback.
- Encourage professional growth and development within the team through training, skill-building, and knowledge sharing.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations within the Business Service Group, ensuring processes are followed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate team performance and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Address any operational challenges or obstacles, taking proactive steps to resolve them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role within a business service or operations environment.
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Previous experience in operational management or business services management.
