Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in Civil Engineering to join our dynamic team in Delta State, Nigeria. 
• The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering oil and gas projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. 
• The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project execution and will oversee the management of engineering activities from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of oil and gas projects, ensuring that all phases are completed according to specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, safety, quality assurance) to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare project reports, including schedules, budgets, and status updates, for senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure that all project documentation is accurately maintained and updated.
• Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: HND / BSC in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in oil and gas project engineering, with hands-on experience in delivering successful projects.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in project management software, including:
  • Primavera P6
  • MS Project
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of project safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

Salary
N700,000 net per month.
