Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our educational team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students in Key Stage 2, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Key Stage 2 students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote student progress in line with curriculum objectives.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to present key ideas and ensure understanding.
- Employ effective questioning techniques to stimulate critical thinking and assess student comprehension.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements and areas for development.
- Prepare and present reports on student progress to parents and school leadership.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and respect.
- Implement the school’s behavior management policies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Foster strong relationships with students, supporting their social and emotional development.
Collaboration and Professional Development:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum delivery and school activities.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
