Job Title: Principal Chief Medical Laboratory Technologist

Job Description

• The successful candidate will provide technical support, conduct laboratory tests and analyses, maintain equipment, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating laboratory services.
• Conduct and supervise laboratory tests and analyses.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• At least a second-class lower honors degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field, plus NYSC or exemption certificate.
• Evidence of current registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• At least 12 years post-qualification experience, with 3 years as Senior Chief Medical Laboratory Technologist.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ICT.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Conditions of Service

• The successful candidate will be appointed for a single term of four (4) years and entitled to the benefits and allowances approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Governing Council, as the case may be.
