Job Title: Residential Chef

Objective / Purpose of Job

• The Residential Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, primarily local and international dishes, ensuring meal variety, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and effectively managing kitchen resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals as per the assigned menu, including company meals.
• Specialize in local dishes and possess a working knowledge of international cuisines.
• Plan and execute meal preparation efficiently.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory and procure necessary supplies while minimizing waste.
• Exhibit improvisational skills in meal preparation using available ingredients.
• Adapt to new cooking techniques and remain open to continuous learning.
• Collaborate with household members to accommodate dietary preferences and special requests.
• Maintain a well-organized kitchen, including storage of ingredients and proper use of kitchen equipment.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum qualification: SSCE / HND.
• Proven experience in culinary cooking.
• Strong knowledge of local dishes and a good understanding of international cuisines.
• Ability to improvise and create meals with available ingredients.
• Open-mindedness and willingness to learn new culinary techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and take feedback constructively.

Salary
N100,000 – N180,000 Monthly.
