Job Title: Junior Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code usingKotlin.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement app interfaces.
• Work closely with senior developers to improve app performance and security.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 – 2 years of experience in Android development.
• Basic knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON for app integration.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion for learning and improving Android development skills.
• Prior experience with Room Database, Firebase, or Retrofit.
• Exposure to unit testing and basic debugging tools.
• Published an app or worked on Android projects (even as coursework or personal projects).
• Knowledge on occupational health and safety.
