Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job responsibilities

• Supervision Of all project vendors on site (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Projects).
• Assist the Project Engineer/Project Manager in the review of plans, specifications, and designs submitted by contractors, architects, or engineers.
• Use of AutoCAD, PDMS and plant 3D software’s for the design drawings.
• Inspect all materials going into the project and confirm that they meet the acceptance criteria.
• Responsible for the inspection of the workmanship and practices (safety) of contractors and workmen engaged in project.
• Assist in interpreting provisions of contracts, plans, specifications, and designs.
• Ensure that all work is accomplished and that the materials utilized conform with the appropriate specifications.
• Utilized AUTOCAD in drawing P&ID, PFD, plans, elevations and isometric projection of pipelines, while consulting pipefitting manuals such as trouvay cauvin piping equipment handbook.
• Supervise sand blasting, coating of underground and surface pipes and fittings.
• Responsible for the supervision of hydro-test of valves and product line.
• Reported daily activity on the project sites to the project manager to ensure follow-up on regular basis.

Requirement

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
