Responsibilities

• Operating and Maintaining Weighbridge Equipment: This includes using and calibrating the weighbridge scales, ensuring they are functioning correctly, and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Weighing Vehicles and Materials: Accurately recording the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials, often using digital scales and software systems.
• Documenting Weighbridge Transactions: Completing necessary paperwork, such as waybills, tickets, and delivery notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Traffic Control and Management: Directing traffic through the weighbridge area, ensuring safe and efficient flow of vehicles, and coordinating with other site personnel.
• Customer Service: Assisting customers with queries, providing information about site rules and procedures, and handling complaints professionally.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring that weighbridge operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and site-specific rules, such as waste management regulations.
• Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all weighbridge transactions, generating daily reports, and assisting with inventory control and reconciliation.
