Responsibilities

• Planning and Operations: Develop and implement operational plans, strategies, and budgets for the mine.
• Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and implementing safety protocols.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mining professionals, including operations, maintenance, and HR personnel.
• Resource Management: Manage and optimise all mining resources, including personnel, equipment, and finances.
• Production and Efficiency: Monitor production output and costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant mining regulations and environmental standards.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on production, costs, and other key metrics, and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Capital Projects: Oversee the development and implementation of capital projects related to mining operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement plans for continuous improvement in all aspects of mining operations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualifications with 3 – 5 years of work experience.
