Job Title: Laravel Developer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria.
As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework and related technologies.
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Laravel and PHP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Laravel applications
Optimize database queries and application performance
Implement and maintain version control using Git
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Laravel and PHP development
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Laravel development
Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework
Excellent knowledge of MySQL and database design principles
Experience with RESTful API development and integration
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies
Strong understanding of web application security best practices
Experience working in Agile development environments
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Laravel certification is a plus
