Job Description

• Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria.
• As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework and related technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Laravel and PHP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Laravel applications
• Optimize database queries and application performance
• Implement and maintain version control using Git
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Laravel and PHP development
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Laravel development
• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework
• Excellent knowledge of MySQL and database design principles
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies
• Strong understanding of web application security best practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Laravel certification is a plus
