Job Title: Inventory Lead

Job Summary

• As the Inventory Lead, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the inventory of frozen food products at the branch level.
• This includes overseeing receiving, storage, and shipment processes, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• You will lead a team of inventory specialists and collaborate with the branch management team to meet inventory goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking levels, monitoring expiration dates, and addressing discrepancies.
• Supervise inventory specialists, offering training and direction and coordinate receiving, storing, and shipping of frozen food in compliance with policies.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories and investigate and resolve inventory issues such as missing or damaged goods.
• Implement inventory best practices, including FIFO rotation and proper labeling, and work with branch leadership to reduce costs and improve inventory efficiency.

Requirements

• HND/BSC degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of inventory management experience, ideally in the frozen food sector.
• Strong leadership and team management experience, and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, cold-storage environment and manage priorities.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
