Job Title: Officer, Compliance
Job Description
- The Compliance Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of compliance programs for SITL and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations, policies, guidelines, codes and laws.
- Interpret regulations and laws that apply to the business and to provide information to business on how to comply.
- Monitor continuous knowledge development regarding sectors’ rules, regulations, codes, laws, and best practices.
- Assess regulatory framework and ensure that any new developments are implemented in the businesses
Qualifications
- First Degree inLaw
- Masters, LLB is an added advantage
- Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsorship is an added advantage
- 5 – 7 years post-NYSC experience in Compliance Function
- Experience in Trust and supporting laws
