Job Title: Procurement Officer

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the purchasing and supply of products and services for our organization.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement while maintaining quality and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain accurate supplier records.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and budget limits.
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to reconcile invoices and manage procurement documentation.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with local and international procurement laws and best practices.

Salary
N250,000 monthly (Gross).
