Job Title: Business Development Manager
About the Job
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing vendor relationships, and providing expert consultation for corporate events.
- They will possess a solid track record in event management, vendor coordination, and developing strategic business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in the corporate event sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with event objectives and organizational goals.
- Provide expert consultation to clients, offering tailored event solutions that meet their needs and exceed expectations.
- Identify and onboard high-quality vendors to expand the company’s vendor network.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event planning and execution.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Analyze event performance data and vendor feedback to optimize processes and improve outcomes.
- Promote the company’s event services and vendor offerings through digital and physical marketing initiatives.
- Resolve vendor-related issues promptly and professionally, maintaining strong partnerships.
Qualifications
- HND / BSc. Degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in event planning and consulting or vendor management.
- Deep understanding of the corporate event industry and vendor landscape.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, project management software, and digital marketing platforms.
- A creative and analytical mindset with a focus on delivering results.
