Job Title: Chief Mate – SDPO
Purpose
- To assist the Master and take charge during DP operations, cargo handling, stability, and safety management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead DP watchkeeping operations as SDPO.
- Monitor vessel stability and ballast operations.
- Supervise deck crew and safety equipment checks.
- Conduct risk assessments and client coordination on deck operations.
Requirements
- Chief Mate CoC
- Full DP Certificate
- 2+ years’ experience on DP vessels as Chief Mate
- Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and SOLAS.
