Job Title: Learning and Development Officer
Job Summary
- They are currently in need of a Learning and Development Officer who will be responsible for the training and development needs and programmes of their staff at their manufacturing plant in Ogun State.
Responsibilities
- Organising training materials and training programmes, as well as ensuring that the costs of planned programmes don’t exceed the provided budget.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees, work with department managers to assess training and development needs and provide management with trainees’ program reports.
- Assisting with the design of training materials for existing employees and new hires, as well as resolving any training-related issues that may arise.
- Researching new HR technologies and training software solutions, and expected to stay up to date with the latest developments and news in the HR field.
- Identify training and development needs of all the departments within the company.
- Work with department managers to develop training programs and ensure they deliver results.
- Track and assess the progress of trainees and provide reports to management.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in a relevant field of study.
- Professional Membership e.g. CIPM, SPHR, CIPD, etc. will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in learning and development
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in a manufacturing and FMCG is an added advantage.
