Job Title: Coating Machine Operator
Job Description
- The Coating Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining tablet coating machines to apply film or sugar coatings to pharmaceutical tablets.
- The role includes machine setup, monitoring, quality checks, and ensuring adherence to GMP and safety guidelines throughout the coating process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Coating Equipment: Set up and run tablet coating machines (e.g., Glatt, O’Hara) according to batch instructions.
- Monitor Process Parameters: Control spray rate, temperature, airflow, and pan speed to ensure uniform coating.
- In-Process Checks: Inspect coated tablets for color, uniformity, and defects during production.
- Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance to ensure machine readiness.
- Documentation & Compliance: Accurately complete batch records and follow GMP, safety, and SOP guidelines.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
