Job Title: LGA Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of project activities at LGA level in line with the project workplan and objectives.
- Ensure the timely delivery of life-saving services including case management, psychosocial support, referrals to medical and legal services, and provision of dignity kits.
- Support the establishment and management of Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) in both LGAs.
- Organize and facilitate community awareness sessions and dialogues focused on preventing and responding to SGBV.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and local authorities, traditional leaders, service providers, and civil society organizations.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Psychology, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably with a focus on GBV or protection programming.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating activities in conflict-affected or rural communities.
- Experience working with survivors of sexual violence and knowledge of survivor-centred approaches.
- Familiarity with Katsina State, especially Kurfi or Mashi LGAs, is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Nigerian citizenship or valid work permit.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Team player with excellent communication and management skills.
