About the Role

• We are looking for a driven and innovative Mechanical Engineering Graduate Trainee to join our engineering team within the mining sector.
• This role provides an excellent platform for recent graduates to gain practical exposure in mining operations, mechanical systems maintenance, and industrial machinery.
• You’ll be mentored by experienced engineers while contributing to the optimization of plant equipment and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in the maintenance and repair of mining equipment and heavy-duty machines
• Assist in analyzing mechanical failures and proposing solutions
• Collaborate with senior engineers on equipment design improvements
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure efficiency in operations
• Maintain proper documentation and technical records of maintenance activities
• Uphold company standards for safety, health, and environmental practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, or thermodynamics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
